Never let a credential lapse again.

The credential wallet for respiratory therapists, and the compliance dashboard for the departments that employ them. Built by an ex-RT manager who lived the spreadsheet.

Always free for therapists. Department plans start at $6 per seat — with 50% off for life for our first 10 founding teams.

The pain you already know

Credential tracking is a quiet disaster — until it isn't.

The 60-day scramble

Joint Commission is in 60 days and your credential spreadsheet is three versions out of date.

The silent expiration

Someone's BLS expired last Tuesday and nobody noticed until today.

The PDF re-upload loop

You've asked every RT to re-email their current license. Again.

Built for both sides of the department

A wallet for the therapist. A dashboard for the team.

Same data, two experiences. Therapists get a beautiful free tool. Departments get the visibility and reporting they need to stay survey-ready.

For therapists

Credential wallet

Always free
  • State license, NBRC, BLS / ACLS / PALS / NRP, fit tests — one vault
  • Snap a photo or drop a PDF. Find it again in two taps.
  • Email + SMS reminders at 90, 60, 30, and 7 days
  • CEU tracker against your state's rules, by category
  • Public profile to share when you apply for a new job
  • Portable across employers — your record goes with you

For departments

Compliance dashboard

Starting at $6 / seat
  • The four numbers that matter: compliant, expiring 30d, expiring 60d, lapsed
  • Credential matrix — every therapist × every credential, color-coded
  • Bulk reminders + manager escalation when a therapist ignores theirs
  • Joint Commission-ready PDF, exported in one click
  • Annual competency workflow: assign → complete → sign-off → archive
  • Manager and assistant-manager roles, full audit log

Founding departments save 50% for life. Backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee, so there's no risk in trying it.

Live in five minutes

Drop your existing spreadsheet in. We map the columns. No retyping 30 records.

Audit log built in

Who changed what, when. Every action timestamped. Surveyors love it.

Your data stays yours

Department isolation enforced at the database, not the app. Other departments physically can't see your records.

Notifications, not spam

The reminders are the product.

Spreadsheets don't text anyone. RTCred reaches out at the right moment, on the right channel — and quietly escalates to the manager only when it has to.

90d
First nudge

Friendly heads-up. Plenty of time to schedule the renewal class.

60d
Second look

Reminder with one-tap document upload from the email.

30d
Act now

Email and SMS. The therapist can confirm renewal in one tap.

7d
Final + escalation

If still unresolved, manager gets a quiet alert — before the lapse.

Manager escalation is the differentiator

A spreadsheet can't escalate. When a therapist ignores their reminders, the manager hears about it before Joint Commission does — without anyone making a phone call at 10pm.

Quiet hours respected. No 3am texts.

Just renewed? We suppress further reminders automatically.

Per-credential cadence — BLS reminders ≠ license reminders.

Who's building this

JM

“I ran a respiratory therapy department. I lived the credential-tracking spreadsheet, the late-night BLS chase, and the Joint Commission scramble. I'm building the tool I wish I'd had — and giving it away to therapists, because the person who owns the credential should own the record.”

Common questions

The things people ask first.

Is it really free for therapists?
Yes. Free, forever, no asterisk. The therapist app is the distribution model — when an RT brings RTCred to their manager, the department converts. We're not going to charge you to keep your own credentials.
When does it launch?
The therapist app ships first, around mid-2026. The department dashboard follows about six weeks later. We'll only email you when there's something real to use — no countdown timers, no fake urgency.
If I change jobs, do my credentials come with me?
Always. The therapist owns the record, not the department. When you leave a department, your manager loses access — but every license, BLS card, and CEU certificate stays in your vault for the next job, the job after that, and the rest of your career.
Which states are supported at launch?
California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania at launch — that covers about a third of all US RTs. We're adding states as customers ask. If your state isn't live yet, you can still track licenses and BLS/ACLS — only the state-specific CEU rules wait until we've added yours.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
We never touch patient data. RTCred is staff data only — licenses, certifications, competencies — so HIPAA doesn't apply in the way it would for an EMR. Encryption at rest and in transit, audit logs on every manager action, and SOC 2 Type 1 in our roadmap for hospitals that ask.
How is this different from what we already use?
Most departments use a spreadsheet, a credentialing module bolted onto their HR system, or a generic compliance tracker. The first doesn't text anyone when something's about to expire. The second is buried under five clicks and was designed for the HR team, not the RT manager. The third doesn't know what NBRC, NPS, or RRT mean. We're building the version that does.
What if it's not the right fit for my department?
60-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. We'd rather refund you than have you stuck with a tool that doesn't work for your team.
